​The Sanctuary of Cleveland is led by Pastor Kevin Howard. He is married to Luciana, and they have three children: Igor, Sean, and Bella. Pastor Howard spent his formative years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he grew up in a missionary’s home. As a young adult, he worked in the technology division for Feature Animation at Warner Bros. in Los Angeles before answering the call to ministry in 1995. After pastoring in Los Angeles, he returned to Brazil to minister for three years. In 2003, Pastor Howard moved back to the U.S., serving as a metro missionary in Boston, MA, for six years before arriving at The Sanctuary of Cleveland in 2009 and becoming senior pastor in 2015. With theological education from Instituto Bíblico Apostólico and Indiana Bible College, Pastor Howard also holds a BA in Business Technology from Faculdade Data Center. He serves on the executive board of Multicultural Ministries (MCM) for the United Pentecostal Church International and is the South-Central Regional Director, focusing on reaching Portuguese-speaking nations.
